Busy, Busy, Busy!

The kids had a fun time coloring Easter eggs. Too bad that on the way home we ran over a bunny! We pulled over to see if it was of the Easter variety, but we didn't see any broken eggs- thank goodness. We feel bad for the little guy who is now stuck to our tires; oh well, at least they don't have a hard time reproducing- Happy Easter!

...Who cares about the candy- how does this toy work?
What goes in must come out... At least that's the moto for our house. Just about everything in our house has been replaced, remodeled, or thrown out. We are very excited to have a 2nd bathroom in our house in the near future. Honey, are you reading this? The bathroom will be done soon, right?! This pic is for the rebate on our new toilet. In order to get the rebate we have to provide a picture with a broken tank & bowl- Garrett swore that the hole in the toilet was 'man-made' by him. Sad thing is that Garrett wasn't posing for this picture!
Can you say bad hair day? Isaac now has a haircut to match Dad's. Garrett buzzed it all off but he had to have a little fun first. So this is what Isaac might look like in 50 years. We laugh out loud everytime we see this shot of Isaac- hilarious!

Kiddos
Isaac imitates everything we do-almost. He likes to watch us work around the house, clean the dishes, etc. and wants to help too. The shirt says it all...
Sarah texted me at work one day, "you built the baby gate to far off the ground." "Wonderful" I thought, "how bad is he hurt?" The good thing is that Isaac didn't fall down the stairs after crawling under the gate. We are hoping his head gets just a little bigger so that he can't fit under it anymore. So for fear of worse danger, we left the gate open. It proved to be safer than having it shut... until Isaac was wearing PJ's that were too long for him with sox. Sure enough he was at the top of the stairs when he slipped/tripped and down he went. I promise he really did fall down the stairs!! We took the pics a little late because the two black eyes only show up as bruises now. Poor kid! After a cup of milk though, he was right back to having fun (with the gate closed this time).
This is Charlotte after hearing her bro take the spill:
She is such a darling litte girl- we are so blessed to have her! Sarah loves to play 'dress the baby' as you can see (future photos will also serve as evidence).
Grandpa Easton was in the area afterwork, so he stayed for dinner (Grandma was out of town), and we convinced him to stay with the kids while Sarah and I got out for a few hours. Thanks, Dad! When we returned, the babysitter was asleep on the couch!
We had to get a couple more pictures of Isaac & Charlotte in their Sunday Best:

The Church Challenge
Isaac is afixiated with how things work. Here he is looking at a flourecent light that is flickering (although we joke that he is seeing an angel- well you never know, but it looked like a light to us :)
Here he is being entertained by a fan- forget toys, this is way better!

Latest and Greatest
There's nothing like a new baby! They grow so fast so we are trying to take it all in and enjoy it while it lasts. It seems like just yesterday we brough Isaac home from the hospital!
Ah, Ah, Achoo! I know it's cold/flu season, but that is the wettest, nastiest, biggest booger I've ever seen!Just kidding-it's applesauce; Isaac is spoon challenged, he will only use a spoon for the first few bites and then he uses his fingers. It was hilarious watching him eat this particular time. He would bring a fist of mush to his face just to realize that it had all fallen through his fingers by the time he got it to his mouth. He saw some applesauce on his hands still, so he licked his palm while closing his fingers around his face. LOL!

Fresh From Heaven!
Sarah, Garrett & Charlotte- Happy Birthday
Cami was awsome, she was our doula, but didn't want us to call her that in the delivery room becuase the hospital staff gets a little anxious- so she doubled as our "friend". She helped us know what to do and was very encouraging. The comfort of having her in the room with us was remarkable, plus she predicted the time of delivery within 1 minute- Thanks Cami! All the nurses & doctors were impressed with Sarah's progression throughout the delivery- good job, babe! The delivery of Charlotte was very different compared to the C-section when Isaac was born. A lot less recovery time and we were able to enjoy our 'family' sooner as the healing process was significantly reduced.

In Sarah's family she is the evening factor for girl and boy grand kids (3 & 3), that is until this summer when Melinda will have her 2nd... About 2 minutes old.
